A beauty post

Finally...right? The last time i did a beauty routine post was well over a year ago, and i figured it's time for an update. I suck at beauty stuff but decided to bore you with these details and comments anyway, just because. In no particular order, here goes:

Clarisonic Aria: I received this baby just a bit over a week ago (Thank you Style-tips!) and have been using it every other day, with my vichy cleanser. There haven't been drastic changes in my skin but it does feel smoother and more apt to soaking up moisturizer. I'll give you guys an update after a month or so...but I already recommend it!

Kiehls Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque: My second pot of this and it's really nice- i feel like it really gets stuff out of your pores and refreshes your skin. I use it around once a week.

Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray: Makes my hair feel nice and rough. Wish it gave more volume otherwise it's great and i'm almost out of it.

Lucas' Papaw Ointment: Yan gave me this when she came to HK and i love it. Perfect to use as a lip balm/ a balm for other dry areas.

Dermalogica Solar Defense Booster SPF 50: Basically a fancy name for sunscreen. I only need a little and use it everyday.

Tweezers: I have no idea what the brand is but they're my moms and i've stolen them.

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler/ Torture Device: The most frequently hyped beauty tool out there but it's really great and fits my eye perfectly.

VICHY Normaderm Cleanser: Started using this after my sister got it and it's nice, i use it with the Clarisonic and by itself. Does

3 Concept Eyes Duo Cover Concealer: What i use for events/special occasions. I only use the lighter shade but it stays nicely and comes with a brush that is pretty good for applying it.

Maybelline Falsies Waterproof Mascara: Second time getting this one and i love it.

Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner: Received this as a gift and it's really nice- i don't usually apply a thick bold line but prefer a subtle thin line from the middle to the outside of my lash line.

Phytomer Ultra Moisturizing Fluid: I use this in the daytime and the Moisturizing Base Skin Cream at night. Makes skin feel all kinds of supple and moist (did i make you uncomfortable yet?)

Original Moroccan Oil: Have already mentioned this before but its great in the winter when your hair is frizzy and rough, and not in the glorified 'bed head' way.

What do you think? Do you guys recommend me any products you enjoy, or have you had different experiences with the products i mentioned? Let me know.

x
Zoe

  6. Woo so excited for this post!! i've seen stuff about Bumble and bumble everywhere and i think it might be time to finally invest, although my hair is pretty crazy anyway...i'm not sure it needs anymore of the 'surf' look haha xx

  7. Omg you have a Clarisonic! Totes jealous. Been wanting one ever since! Also, I laughed when you referred to the eyelash curler as torture device only because I think it's half-true. The eyelash curler I bought off ASOS made me have a rational fear of eyelash curlers because when I used it, my eyelashes got stuck and it was so painful to get them out. Literal torture device, I tell you. Eeeep

  9. I love the falsies mascara, one of my favourites that I keep coming back to. I have also used the Eyeko eyeliner but I find that it dries up really quickly compared to my Ted Baker liquid liner.
