It was hot. And not in a pure humidity-heat love-child but in a way that makes you feel like your composure is deserting you via osmosis in your sweat. Temperatures in which nudity should be legal and iced pineapple slices should be free (though they are pretty darn cheap), and where wearing black would probably force me to run and cannonball off the Cheung Chau jetty, hence the 99% white outfit that would 99% give me very stripey tan-lines. Currently going through a midi-skirt phase and can't really complain about it- ditch the flashing-on-stairs worries and add a lot of twirling to your commute, all through a hemline that is double that of your average mini, but not long enough to swallow you up (though if you can pull off the maxi look, by all means). Might just convert from my comfortable habits of all-black ensembles and keep cool in white for the rest of the summer.
